If I received that message from the flower company, I wouldn't know what to do. Options are (1) fight to the death or (2) give up na lang, because judging from the message, the company she's dealing with don't care enough to hire people who have a basic grasp of grammar, much less deal with complaints properly.

And, geez, from the photo of the lumpia you got, I wouldn't have been able to tell they were from a Resorts World restaurant. A cafeteria, maybe. High-end restaurant, no.

Re: Remember these?

ok I feel bad. We used to fight who got to be Kelly and other girl. Nobody wanted to be Sabrina hahaha. Cartimar with the PX goodies was so fun to visit. I used to have the Holly Hobby stationery too. This brings back so many happy memories. Not too fond of MRE. But it was edible if you were hungry.

Re: Remember these?

ooooh lala! We live just outside Clark Air Base and my grandfather (bless his soul) was then the chief cook in Clark. He would bring home almost everyday all the boxes that Am Air Force would not eat. He did buy me the shoes but they were of bigger size, so I had to stuff them with newspaper when I wore them just so they wouldn't leave my feet, or vice versa. Tsk, tsk! Anyway, you got a big house. Your posts convey you as warm and engaging and you're a rich kid on the rich block; hmmm, interesting (no pun there, i'm just surprised).

Re: Celebrity Deathmatch: Live at NAIA-3

Claudine cursing people, what's new?
2) You still have your toys, and in good condition too? Fantastic! Your boys may turn them into wrestlers though :)

3) Ah yes, the days when PX goods were such a treat... I find myself sniffing items in the grocery here in the US, to see if they smell like America or if the magic scent is added en route to the Philippines.

4) All the talk about MREs made me think about apocalypse/disaster scenarios and getting emergency food buckets like this one (they come in vegan/gluten-free/"healthy" varieties, as if it will matter during those times):

Re: Remember these?

I love this post!
